Amanda Peet is a traveler, as is her daughter. She told Ellen Degeneres that she pretty much brought Frances' whole world with them anytime they went somewhere.
Amanda would take all kinds of stuffed animals with them to see which one Frances would get attached to. She got attached to a cow, and then Amanda had to ask someone for a gift back- a twin of said cow, so that they could placate Frances when said cow got lost. They now have two cows, one for now and one in hiding. You know just in case cow # 1 has to be washed or repaired.
Ha, we all know how well this works. It works like a charm until the beloved toy gets lost and is out of production. How pathetic have we become when we scramble all over creation trying to find the toy.
I made that mistake with pacifiers. Thank goodness we finally got our youngest off the dummy. What a lifesaver and nightmare, all in one tiny little package you can buy at Target.
