Ben Affleck is once again doing his good deed for the holiday season. Ben is biding his time while his lovely bride is baking their second baby.
Actually he really isn't just using the time up. He joined a huge amount of volunteers in execution of Operation Gratitude. This volunteer operation sends care packages to thousands of soldiers overseas throughout the year. These soldiers are in hostile environments and need all the extra love they can get.
Ben joined the volunteers last year in the effort to get the care packages to the soldiers. He also helped raise the $200,000 needed to get the packages sent overseas.
Do you think they have to send them on a Armed Forces plane? If they are in hostile environments they probably don't want them sent via regular mail, it might give away their location. That probably wouldn't be a good thing.
Good job, Ben. It's always good for your children to see you do good deeds. It shows them that these are the things we are supposed to be doing, helping others.
