Nicole Kidman is done, she's calling it quits. The main catalyst for her decision? Her baby girl, Sunday Rose....
Kidman is done with acting - or so she says. She said she has no more "interest" in working the big screen after her epic Australia flopped at the box office.
As well, she'd like more kids (hopefully THIS doesn't put a damper on that) with husband Keith Urban and wants to spend more time with her daughter, Sunday Rose (and I'm going to assume she wants to spend more time with her other children - remember them?).
Said Nicole, "I have to say I'm not that interested in making films anymore. I know I'm not meant to say that, but that's where it is for me now.
"I'm in a place in my life where I've had some great opportunities. And I may just choose to have some more children."
She added, "I'm 41 years old and very happy being in Tennessee with my baby and with my husband.
"I obviously have creative blood in me and it needs to come out in some way but I just don't have that burning desire any more."
She does say she can't promise her absence will be forever. "In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don't know."
But if you're a big Nicole Kidman fan, don't fret - she's actually set to star in three movies next year, including Nine, Need and The Danish Girl.
So much for retirement.
