What’s Old Is New Again: Amy Fisher Sex Tape
Just in time to ring in the new year, ‘Long Island Lolita’ Amy Fisher and her husband, Lou Bellera, are back in the news – or rather their sex tape is.
Amy, besides being famous for shooting her lover Joey Buttafuoco’s wife, Mary Jo, writing books to capitalize on the shooting, having plastic surgery, reuniting with Butteafuoco years later, and then breaking up with him, also made a sex tape with her husband Lou, which isn’t new news but it’s resurfaced, so it’s sort of like new news.
Amy and Lou made the tape in 2007, which was apparently meant to be private (of course it was), but the couple hit a rough patch in their relationship, so like any good husband would, he sold the tape to Red Light District porn distributor.
But, the two made nice, got back together and then Amy learned that her husband had peddled the tape, and she was said to be “disgusted.” Sure she was.
She was so disgusted in fact, that she agreed to do promotional appearances related to the tape (of course this was after she filed a lawsuit with David Joseph, owner of Red Light District and they reportedly settled for an undisclosed amount) and is probably working on another tape as we speak.
Amy and Lou have two children, Brett, 7 and Ava Rose, 3, and I’m just wondering, how Amy will explain her past to her children? Sure, most of us parents have done a little of this and a little of that in our younger years, but most of us haven’t shot someone in the face or made porn tapes that were made public by our partner.
Hopefully she made loads of money with her ventures so she can put her children in therapy because they’ll definitely need it if they need it.
Amy was rumored to be pregnant with her third child, due in October 2008, but since that’s come and gone and there’s been no baby news, I’ll assume it wasn’t true. Thank goodness – I don’t think she needs another kid to explain things to.
