Jett Travolta`s autopsy is being performed in the Bahamas this afternoon by two pathologists.
Ordinarily, autopsies are conducted by a single local coroner, but in this case, a special US-certified coroner has been flown in to join the Freeport coroner.
According to E! Online, the dual reports are intended to ``ensure accuracy and provide a more
thorough analysis of what transpired last week.``
Based on existing reports from Travolta family representatives, the unofficial cause of death was a blow to the head, sustained when Jett Travolta fell and struck his head on a bathtub during a seizure. The official cause of
death will be determined by the pathologists, and could possibly be released by the end of the day.
