Howie Mandel was rushed to a Toronto hospital on Monday night after suffering severe chest pains. However, contrary to rumors, Mandel's reps insist the actor didn't have a heart attack. and back to work tomorrow [Tuesday]... He did not have a heart attack."
Police say that the actor was found conscious and breathing in the elevator of his hotel at around 7pm and was taken to the hospital. He had reportedly complained of an irregular heartbeat earlier Monday.
Mandel, who is in Toronto taping his new show, "Howie Do It," is spending the night in the hospital and is being treated for an irregular heartbeat.
This was surely a scare for Mandel's wife Terry and their three children - no word on whether they were with him at the time.
