Lots of parents are in the delivery room with cameras, both still and video. But "Young and the Restless" star Daniel Goddard went a little nuts with the cameras when it came time for new son Sebastian to be born. Daniel and wife Rachael welcomed the baby 3-1/2 weeks ago now, and Daniel recalls the moments during the birth.
"I put on a prime lens on my camera and I shot 36 rolls of film during the birth," Daniel says. "I got every picture - from her walking into the hospital, to the doctor with a scalpel in her stomach, to the baby’s head in her lap."
Sebastian William was born via c-section. The doctor asked Daniel if he "wanted to see Rachael's ovaries and insides," but Daniel wisely declined. "That image would have killed my sex drive!"
Daniel, 33, says it may very well be his last opportunity to get the magic moments of childbirth on camera. "I think we're done now, but who knows?"
Daniel and Rachael also have an older son, Ford Martin, 2-1/2. And hey, Daniel was just named "Most Beautiful Man Alive" for 2009 by TV Guide Canada.
