It seems to just keep getting worse for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. There's been many rumors that the celebrity couple are set to divorce and witnesses apparently saw them have a huge blow-out argument at a New Year's Eve party. Now, the pair are fighting over how to raise their twins, Max and Emme. Can this couple survive?
Despite the rumors, Jennifer insists things are fine between her and husband Marc - but she gave an excuse for not wearing her wedding ring to a red carpet event that hardly made sense. She said it didn't go with her dress. Right.
But sources say that the couple are in trouble and fight "like cat and dog over everything," including their babies, Max and Emme.
The raising of their twins, nearly a year old, are apparently causing a rift between the couple. They have differing views on how they should be doing things.
When Jennifer and Marc met, they were both devout Catholics, but in the past couple of years, JLo has become interested in Scientology (her dad is with the Church of Scientology) due in part, to her best friend, actress Leah Remini.
An insider claims, "JLo feels that it would be beneficial for them to have Scientology in their lives. She keeps arguing that her father is the most decent man she knows and she'd be happy if her twins grow up with even some of his values. JLo has even said she would consider sending them to a Scientology school."
I'm not sure how they can work through this if they're at opposite ends about religion? Isn't this a discussion that couples should have before they have kids, or at least have it worked out before the babies arrive?
If I were Marc, I'd probably have concerns too, about my children being raised as Scientologists!
