Sir Paul McCartney To Marry Again!
Sir Paul McCartney is set to tie the knot once again! The 66-year-old former Beatle will marry his girlfriend Nancy Shevell, whom he’s been dating since November of 2007. Paul’s children, including daughter Stella (who did not like his ex-wife Heather Mills) and Ms. Shevell’s 17-year-old son (with her ex-husband Mr. Blakeman), have given the couple their blessings.
A pal said of Paul getting Stella’s blessing, “Getting Stella’s seal of approval was very important for Paul. All Paul’s children had massive reservations about Heather – but it was Stella who was the most vociferous.”
Sir Paul and Nancy also received approval from Paul’s first wife, Linda’s family – the Eastmans. Actually, years ago, Paul and Linda were friends with the Blakemans and used to holiday together at times in the Hamptons before Linda’s passing from cancer in 1998.
And friends of Paul’s also believe Nancy is a better fit than Heather Mills ever was.
An insider explains, “Nancy has been through a lot, not least overcoming breast cancer. She also comes from a similar wealthy East Coast background to Linda. They shared a similar outlook on life. She joined the family firm in the 1980s and has become wealthy in her own right. It makes everyone comfortable that she is clearly not after Paul’s money.”
Congrats! Maybe Sir Paul’s youngest daughter, Beatrice, will be the flower girl!
