First daughter Sasha Obama received two very important visitors to her school on Thursday - her parents! President Obama and First Lady Michelle left the White House around 8:15 a.m., arriving shortly after, at the Bethesda, Md., Sidewell Friends School.
Sasha, 7, and in the second grade at the private school, saw mom and dad spend an hour there for a class presentation. Afterwards, the presidential parents returned to the White House.
Obama had teased local officials for school closures on Wednesday, saying, "we're going to have to apply some flinty Chicago toughness to this town."
Sasha's big sister, Malia, 10, attends Sidewell's middle school in the District of Columbia. Maybe she'll be getting a visit next week!
