The Obama baby rumor has exploded into quite the frenzy and people are even wagering bets with real money on whether Michelle is actually pregnant or not! It's become such hype, that bookies have stopped taking bets that there is a White House baby on the way, and instead, are accepting bets on whether she's going to have a boy or a girl!
How nuts is this? All because Perez Hilton said he was receiving "completely unconfirmed" rumors about a possible Michelle Obama pregnancy. Now, everyone is analyzing the First Lady's mid-section, in hopes of confirming that baby bump (which, really, probably does not exist).
Although the White House has made no comment on the rumors, their silence has not stopped people from speculating, hoping, jumping for joy at the Obama baby to come. President Barack and Michelle have even said that they don't want more children, but so what? That's not going to stop the excitement of a possible presidential pregnancy!
Ladbrokes and William Hill closed their betting books on Friday.
Rupert Adams of William Hill said, "The run of money may just be on the back of a rumor but we don't want any more money in the book, an Obama baby will cost us a five-figure sum."
Darn! I should have called my bookie days ago. Wait - I don't have one. Anyway, I'm guessing she's not pregnant, but doesn't mean I've given up watching for that bump!
