If others are paid for interviews WHY shouldn't she be paid

Hogwash!  Why should she be paid to brag about her selfish pride.  It is wrong....so very wrong...and those kids will suffer one way or another...either mentally or physically.  

What an outrage.

Why shouldn't she  be paid? Takes the burden off the Califonia tax payers. And why don't people get a life and leave her alone.

I bet she never pays a dime to the IRS on that $300K income from the interview on tv.  Maybe the IRS can look into this too. I won't rest with this one.

so the media finds out a woman none of us ever even heard of has octuplets and airs her life, MAKES HER FAMOUS (in a ugly way) and she shouldn't be paid for an interview?  disgusting! she should get paid and then tell everyone to get the hell out of her crib!

the media creates the death threats everyone receives in their dilemnas by medling in peoples lives...it's the whole point, drama drama drama hey people, even if this lady didn't have all these kids and receive welfare...you'd still pay taxes for all the other people in this country doing the same dang thing.  get off her, she doesn't deserve all this attention, you're giving other women ideas to go be crazy.

Did she get her tubes tied?   Is she going to have more babies????

THIS IS SO SAD. CHILD WELFARE SHOULD STEP IN AND REMOVE THESE CHILDREN FROM THIS WOMAN.  YOU CANNOT KEEP ONE FOSTER CHILD UNDER THE CONDITIONS THAT THESE CHILDREN ARE LIVING IN.  I HOPE THESE CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE THE CARE THEY NEED TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE.  AS FOR THE MOTHER, SHE NEEDS TO GET A JOB, PAY BACK ALL SHE ALREADY OWES THE GOVERNMENT AND MOVE ON WITH HER LIFE.

You need to think about these babies, not her. (she is nuts)

How "Police Medic" or anyone else could boycott companies that donate to these BABIES is beyond me.  

These big corporations should be helping these BABIES.  They are innocent and precious and I dont understand how anyone who is a parent cannot see that... shame on all of you!

What's pathetic is that society allows these types of stories to get to the "oh wow, look at what happened" stage.  What this lady did is a joke and shouldn't be looked upon with smiles or reality TV shows.  No one needs 14 kids, especially when they biologically cannot conceive them on their own.

If she's getting money like this, the public funds WE'RE paying for should end. The network should send the money straight to the hospital. PERIOD.

NBC said they didn't pay for the interview. And like others have stated, why WOULDN'T she be able to get paid? What people need to do is go after the quack doctor who implanted another 6 embryos, when she said she only wanted 1 more child.

Here we are in 2008/2009 and here is another woman the victim of a doctors experiments and the woman suffers, is given death threats and talked down to  all because of a MAN trying to play GOD.

For all of you who want her children to go to foster care, CPS or get adopted, you have absolutely NO CLUE what you are talking about!

Take it from someone who knows first hand, it's best if all of the children stay together with their mother who loves them....foster care, CPS and even an adopted family is not necessary since the children have family.

Oh and the Angels in Waiting is a good program but they are leaving something out. They want her to sign over custody to them so that they can get money for the children themselves because they are hurting for donations.

Call them yourself and ask about it. A group of moms did and all they want is to "force" Nadya Suleman to give up her kids to them.

Call her invitro doctor and complain and leave this woman and her children alone!!!

A few points to consider:

The AMA does have the authority to strip that physician of his medical license.  He is a disgrace to all those physicians that do follow guidelines for the SAFE and ETHICAL care of their patients...those that are born and yet to be born.

I am curious to know if having multiple births at once had any consequence on the childrens disabilities?  I mean..there is only so much room and nutrients that can be given to any one child when you are carrying around so many.  If I have 1 child then I can give 100%..if  I have 10 children then I can only give 10%.  Get the point??

A loving and concerned mother worries about the well being of her children..the ones in the hospital and the ones at home.  Being a mother means there is a lot of work and NO time for trips to the MAC cosmetic counter, manicures, pedicures, and having plastic cosmetic procedures.  There is only one place for her to be right now: at the hospital in the NICU with er children.

Why not get the master's  degree and the good job BEFORE having the kids?

In my mind, I feel that the state of CA needs to step in and take these children from her so that they may have the chance to receive the care, attention, and stability that they need.  She is irresponsible, selfish, and has no business looking to others to take care of her children.  I would like to see the hospital get their money...from Nadya..not from the public!   There was a rumor going around...I don't know how true it ever was that TLC was in negotiations with Nadya Suleman for a reality TV show.  That was unquestionably denied by the network...why??? because TLC is very aware of the public outrage over this fiasco and they don't want to be associated with her...not good for ratings!

This is horrible!!!  she needs to get ALL of her kids taken away from her she cant even take care of herself!!! and for NBC to pay her that much for an interview is disgusting!! Maybe they should learn to put there money else where.

I feel sorry for Suleman's parents.  

She and her 6 six children live with them.  Her father is working 2 jobs, and her mother looks like an 80 year-old because of all the stress of trying to raise 6 children while Nadia makes a living out of being pregnant.

Nadia's received hundreds of thousands of dollars between injury settlements and interviews and has given them nothing.

Now they are losing their house.

Our taxes take care of murders, rapists, robber, sicko who attack children and leave them dead. We care for these people in our prisons paying millions in our tax dollars and everyone is so worried that we just might have to take care of 14 innocent children. How does anyone know that the mother has received any money for interviews ? as far as her injury settlement, she was hit across the back with a desk by a mental patient. I think that just might hurt. I can't believe that the media doesn't have anything better to do than to keep this going. People would let it go if it was not on the news each hour.

WTF... You got to be kiding me. I knew NBC's lineup was on the a down fall. There highest rate talk show host is demoted to 10 pm. Now they pay in blood money $300,000.00 to someone who Child Protective Services should do something about. She's said to be looking at 1.2M house, but let's her parents get forclosed upon and almost bandrupt. Oh yea!!!! I hope she give every cent to her parents for helping her out with her ILLNESS. Good for NBC.  They should pay since she's bringing so many viewers to their sponsors (including all you haters!).  Showbiz Tonight should also pay her a fair share.  She's as imperfect a human as you and me.  My family's prayers are with the Suleman family as well as with you.

This Nadia person had those 8 kids to make money.  Just listen to her and you know! She can't work because of a back injury?? but her back held out carrying 8 babies 24/7 for how many months??? If she can do that she can get her lazy a.... out and work for a living and stop asking others to pay for her and her kids.

She had 6 kids yet paid for plastic surgery..and she says

she is always there for her kids. The money she spent on her face should of gone to her kids. What will she ask the public to pay for next. Childrens Services need to take custody of those babies now!! No one else is allow to make money off their kids. eg child actors. If the hospital releases the babies to her care, I think that the hospital should be held leagally responsible

Did welfare pay for her IVF???? it is not cheap. Did tax payer money pay for her plastic surgery????

The one good thing is that the 300k will boot her off of California's welfare system!  YAY!!!!!!

I think that money should go straight to the state to pay for the kids and their hospital bills. She is the one that is costing the state a lot more than $300,000 let her pay for it. This is the sickest thing I have ever seen. I have worked one or two full time jobs just to keep my kids off of welfare and I will keep working till I am dead if I have to. My wife also started working after the kids where all in school. We only have three but we paid for them not the state. So if she is receiving money for things like this it need to go to the state to pay her bills not to star bucks for coffee or to get her nails done. I have three words for her "GET A JOB". And get out of my pocket. I pay for my kids (all three are in college) and now my taxes are paying for yours.

Leave the woman alone. Nobody has any bussines dictating what should happen to the babies or who should get the babies. They(the babies) are hers. She is the mother. Everybody should take their own inventory and mind their own bussiness. I am looking foward to sending her some money to help her out.
