Actor Kevin Bacon's other passion is making music. He and his brother Michael formed The Bacon Brothers in 1995 and since then, have released four albums. Kevin also loves singing and performing with his kids - Travis Sedgwick, 19, and Sosie Ruth, 16.
Bacon says that his son is definitely passionate about singing. He said Travis "is in a few bands - and his passion is music." And even though both Kevin and wife Kyra Sedgwick act for a living, their kids, thus far, don't seem to have the acting bug.
Kevin says of daughter Sosie, "She's in high school and dealing with that. She's starting to think about college. So far she hasn't come to us and said, 'Guess what, I want to be an actress.'" He does say "she's a beautiful singer," and he enjoys singing with her.
The 50-year-old actor adds, "One of the things I really relish is the time when she'll come to me and say, 'Can we work on this song?' I'll figure it out and find a key that works for her, accompany her while she sings. It's my favoriite thing to do."
Oh, how I love me some Bacon!
Kevin and Kyra married in September of 1988. They're one of the true, solid celebrity couples who seem normal and family is obviously very important to them.
