The original Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kristy Swanson, married her "Skating With Celebrities" partner, Lloyd Eisler, on Saturday. "It was awesome and I feel amazing," Kristy told People magazine. "The ceremony was perfect, even though Lloyd's cell phone went off at the end. he forgot to put it on vibrate!"
Kristy, 39, is a mom to 2-year-old Magnus, and now there's a combined family. Lloyd has two sons from a previous marriage, Ethan, 4, and Seth, 3. Kristy and Lloyd met, of course, three years ago on the reality show, and they got married in front of 100 family members and friends at a beautiful hotel in San Luis Obispo.
"We wanted to celebrate Lloyd and I coming together as a family," Kristy says. She wore a lovely strapless ivory wedding gown by Amy Michelson and shoes by Carmen Steffans. Lloyd wore a tux by Nicole Miller.
Wow, when I got married, I wore a shirt by Van Heusen and a tie by Sears.
The lucky couple and their children each placed flowers in a vase to symbolize their family. "It's all about perfect happiness and unity," Kristy said. She went on the Medifast Diet and regular exercise to lose 45 pounds for the wedding. She did martial arts, skipped rope, and did treadmill work, too.
The couple's first dance was Edwin McCain's "I'll Be," which they skated to on their reality show.
