Former Big Brother reality TV star Jade Goody is in the fight of her life - for her life. She's suffering with cervical cancer and it was recently reported that the cancer has spread to her bowel, liver and groin. Her rep confirmed Goody had to undergo emergency surgery to remove a tumor.
Jade's rep Max Clifford said she's been in "quite a lot of pain," so doctors performed a four hour operation to remove the tumor on her bowel. They were successful in not damaging the bowel and she's now resting in a London hospital.
Clifford said, "As you would imagine she's very very sore and tender. She has tubes in her neck and up her nose to try to cure the pain.
"She has been experiencing an awful lot of discomfort - and was blocked up and her tummy was swelling up."
Jade may be able to start a new course of chemo next week if her doctors feel she's well enough. Her rep adds, it "depends on how she responds to the operation she had yesterday."
Goody has said, "I am devastated, frightened and angry. I don't want to die, I have so much to live for."
She must so scared for herself and her boys. It's so sad to see someone so young have to go through this - Jade is only 27. I really hope she pulls through - she's right, she has so much to live for and that's her two beautiful sons!
