Jade Goody, 27, former Big Brother UK star, is fighting for her life with cervical cancer. She has yet to give the real news to her two boys, Bobby Jack, 5, and Freddie, 4. All they know is that mum is sick, but they don't know just how serious her cancer is.
Now that boyfriend Jack Tweed is out of jail, he wants unlimited time to visit Jade in the hospital. At the moment, as part of his probation, he's forced to wear an electronic tracker and has to be home by 7:00 each night.
"I'm going to ask on compassionate grounds whether my tag can include the hospital," Jack said. "I want to be there for Jade throughout the night if I can. She has told me she'd like me to keep a bedside vigil for her."
Jack, 21, was in prison for assaulting a teenager with a golf club several years ago.
Recently, Jade announced that doctors have given her less than a 40% chance of survival. I can't imagine how worried she must be about the boys. She's clearly doing a lot of thinking about where her sons go should she pass.
