A month and a half beyond the Travolta's loss of their son, Jett, and the celeb parents are still working hard to cope. John, 55, and Kelly Preston, 46, are "regrouping and pushing through the grieving process," a source says. "They are trying to grieve and return to some sort of normalcy for Ella," their 8-year-old daughter.
Problem is, "life isn't normal without Jett."
All this while, John and Kelly have been staying out of sight for the most part in their Ocala, FL, house. It doesn't make it easier that they're also dealing with the criminal case in the Bahamas, where a politician and a paramedic attempted to extort $25 million from the Travoltas after Jett's death.
"They were so hurt by the moochers," the source says. "But things have calmed down. Every day it gets better."
Here's hoping so. I can't imagine what it's like to lose your child, but at least they have Ella to keep them pushing onward.
