Button's mom, Taraji P. Henson, will always be a mom. She said that the
role of Brad Pitt's mom, was an easy one to slip into
because she feels that, "Once a mom, always a mom."
She also said that she has a hard time turning off her motherly instincts, even when not around her son Marcel. That means she just mothers everyone else around her. It was probably easy to have her as the set mom to make be on time and in line.
She doesn't let her job get in the way of providing him a good start to the day, everyday. “Even if I have a 5 a.m. call, I’ll cook and leave his food in the microwave before I leave. You expect a child to succeed and do well in school, but how are they going to do that if they have no brain food?”
Maybe she'll try to fix Brad's tie next time she sees him, or better yet, smooth down his hair, you know, moms style.
