We haven't talked about this cat in a while, since the middle of January even. Wow, he must be under strict orders from Ashlee to keep a low profile, granted, he was out of the country for a minute.
It might be something else entirely though. It may have something to do with the fact that Pete is afraid he is going to be murdered and won't answer the door in his own home. Is he thanatophobic or agoraphobic? It's probably a little difficult to be agoraphobic and a performer at the same time. Is it one of those things that develop over time?
Pete explains it, "I refuse to
answer my front door because I'm convinced someone is going to murder
me. I used to think that some day I'd end up murdering a close friend
or relative. Now it's reversed and I'm convinced it's going to happen
to me.
That's the way I'm going out (going to die), I'm completely sure
of it. So I refuse to answer the front door - it greatly minimizes that
risk."
I know he takes pills for his bipolar disorder, but he may need to get this checked out. Bronx and Ashlee could seriously be affected by his paranoia, it's not fun to live with a paranoid person or even one with a specific anxiety. It's difficult for the sufferer as well.
Get help Pete!
