Jade Goody’s Sons Are Realizing The Terrible Truth

By | March 3rd, 2009 at 9:09 am

Jade Goody’s sons – Bobby Jack, 5, and Freddie, 4 – know something is terribly wrong with their mom.  The oldest boy is realizing that his mother is very sick and probably won’t ever get better.  So sad…

Jennifer Smith, Jade’s best friend and a bridesmaid at her wedding, said the boys know things will never be quite the same.

She said, “Bobby’s been sleeping in Jade’s bed.  He gets up in the middle of the night and goes into her room, even if she’s not there but in her hospital bed in the lounge.  He senses something.”

She added, “He just goes and lays in there on his own.  The boys are astute and know something’s going on.  It’s so hard trying to work out what to tell them.  How can you tell your children something like that anyway?  Jade’s spoke to me about how upsetting it’s going to be.  It’s going to be the hardest job.”

As a mother, I can’t even imagine having to tell my kids something like that – and mine are older.

Jade was rushed to hospital from the St Claire hospice and her doctors have given a grim prognosis – just weeks left to live.

We send our prayers to Jade and her family.

You just can’t imagine how poor Jade must be feeling, being a mum it upsets me just reading about Jade and her cancer. You feel for all her family especially her two sons, how do you explain to them that their mother is dying…… I just hope they grow up realising what a fun loving and incredibly brave mother they had xx
