Oprah Winfrey adopted a new addition to her family this month.
It's been a year since her beloved Sophie died and she was finally able to open her home and heart to another puppy.
She adopted a female cocker spaniel like Sophie and probably spends every moment available getting attacked by puppy breath and kisses. The new puppy has a ready made family waiting for her, a male cocker spaniel and two golden retrievers.
There is no name available for the puppy yet, but now I want another puppy.
How important is your pet to your family?
We have three dogs and an assortment of cats and my boys love them and actively seek to spend time petting them. It's good for them, they are learning to respect all forms of life.
