Fatboy Slim, aka DJ Norman Cook, has checked himself into rehab for alcohol addiction.
Cook has a nine-year-old son named Woody. Sounds like rehab should have come a bit sooner, but hey, at least he's going now. Woody will be the better for it.
The 45-year-old Cook told the Mirror UK, “...sometimes it feels a little undignified but I never seem to get tired of getting drunk.
“I’ve tried going on stage sober and it wasn’t much fun.
“There’s a certain bravado involved in what I do. It takes a lot of alcohol to stop me thinking ‘You’re a 40-year-old man. What are you doing whirling that towel above your head’?”
Cook may be best known for his role as Fatboy Slim but I'm a bigger fan of his previous projects the Housemartins and Beats International. Still, you can't deny the pure awesomeness of this:
