Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were rumored to be marrying last year, but that didn't happen. However, now that the couple are expecting their second child, they feel the time is right to take that walk down the aisle!
In Touchly Weekly is reporting that the couple will wed now that their second baby is on the way.
A friend said, "They are old-fashioned in some ways. Now their second baby is coming, they both want to make it legal."
Nicole has even chosen the perfect dress for the occasion - a vintage Yves Saint Laurent gown that she's had tucked away for a few months.
The source added, "It's been hanging in the back of her closet. She always planned to wear it on a very special occasion."
Nicole's dad, Lionel Richie is thrilled with the news. He said, "I'm the first one to pay for it and the last one to know!"

Nicole and Joel are parents to 13-month-old Harlow Winter Kate.
