Roger Daltrey, frontman of legendary rock band The Who, has praised Jade Goody's courage. Daltrey is organizing a series of concerts for the Teenage Cancer Trust and has publicly supported Goody.
"There but for the grace of God go all of us", Daltrey told British publication Sky News during a visit to London's Royal Albert Hall where the shows are being held.
Jade Goody's brave battle with cancer has made headlines all over the world. Daltrey, who organizes the concerts every year, is hoping the shows are increasing awareness of the disease; the musician has raised millions for the Teenage Cancer Trust and has been dedicated to the charity for over 20 years. Daltry has helped build nine Teenage Cancer Trust wards.
"I think she's been incredibly courageous. She's made the maximum use of every minute of her life since she's had that disease, and good luck to her," he said.
