Sophia Coppola headed out for a walk with daughter Romy in their Soho NY neighborhood. Romy is at the age when a walk is the one of the most exciting things in the world. It's hard to imagine anyone getting so excited about seeing a tree, or a big wad of smashed bubble gum in the street. I remember when my kids were small, and that would be the highlight of our day. Besides the 2pm showing of Gullah Gullah Island, that is.
Now they're tweens, and a walk is only the means to an end - if the stroll doesn't end in a trip to Starbucks or at the door to Hot Topic, what's the point?
