English soccer player Jamie Redknapp's wife, former Eternal singer Louise Redknapp, gave birth just four months ago - yet she had no problem showing off her post-pregnancy curves in a sheer top with a black bra peeking through. What is Louise's motivation for getting into shape so soon after the birth of their second child? Well, according to her, there are a lot of "beautiful, skinny" girls out there, that may tempt her husband.
Redknapp, who is the face and body of Triumph lingerie, was spotted out in central London showing off some of that lingerie and her tight abs. And apparently she's afraid her husband will step out on her, so she made sure she got back to her regular sexiness - very quickly.
"I want to feel good for myself and my husband. Jamie's a good-looking guy and I do go through ups and downs. When I feel confident, I think, 'I'm a good woman. He won't find anyone better.' Then I have days when I think, 'There are beautiful, skinny girls out there. He could have anyone.'"
Wow, she's sending out quite a message isn't she? That's a lot of pressure - to pop back into shape mere months after giving birth, because you think your husband will cheat if you're not perfect? What is she saying about him? About herself?
I don't think any woman should be expected to be "lingerie" ready four months after they've had a baby. Her focus should be on her babies, not on her weight. Sure, it's OK if you want to get back into shape and be healthy, but gradually - don't kill yourself getting there.
Redknapp is also working on a show for ITV, called The Truth About Skinny Mums. Guess that added pressure to get thin too!
The couple are parents to Charley William, 3 1/2, and Beau Henry, 4 months.
