Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona is reportedly so addicted to drugs, she can't function without them. She and husband Mark Croft are struggling to keep their marriage together and this has added to Katona's stress. Kerry is also a mother of four - and who is caring for the children while she's high?
According to sources, Katona binges on cocaine, amphetamines and anti-depressants to help her handle the stresses of her life, including her fragile marriage. She told pals that cocaine is the "only way I can function. It's the only way I can get this sorted."
She's snorted so much cocaine, she now has a hole in her nose. A source said, "Kerry is completely addicted to drugs. It is worse than ever and she is close to the edge. She takes them all day every day. She simply can't cope without her fix.
"Kerry's very aware of the hole now. She gets paranoid about it as things get trapped up there. It;s starting to look like Danniella Westbrook before her surgery.
"When Kerry's stepdad died it really affected her and she turned to drugs then. It’s tragic. Kerry doesn’t have an off button.
"Her cocaine intake always goes up massively when things are bad.
"Kerry had been taking a lot of coke anyway but when Mark walked out her intake increased loads. And when she came down from the binge, she started pining for Mark.
"Any time Kerry has friends round she wants everyone to join in [taking cocaine]. She just hammers it and stays up for three full days."
The friend added, "Then her body goes into shutdown and she’ll finally go to sleep. It's so unhealthy because she's on bipolar medication as well. When things get really bad she'll just sit on the bathroom floor off her face."
If this is true, who the hell is looking after her children? She's mom to Molly Marie, 7, Lilly-Sue, 6 (with ex Brian McFadden) and with husband Mark Croft, she has Heidi Elizabeth, 2, and son Maxwell, 11 months.
Kerry admitted to drug use back in 2004, and entered rehab. In 2006 she said she'd been clean since receiving treatment. But last year she was accused of being drunk on a British morning talk show. Is Katona on another downhill slide?
