A pregnant Paz Vega was photographed with husband Orson Salazar and son Orson while walking around Spain. Paz' hometown is the Spanish town of Seville, and her father was a prominent bullfighter there. Wonder if little Orson has any interest in carrying on the tradition of his grandfather?
In an interview I did with her last November, Paz talked about her father and the rich tradition of bullfighting. "The thing about bullfighting is, if you only see that moment in the ring, you may think that it is cruel for the bull, but it's not like that. That bull – he grew up as a king. He lived on a hill, for four or five years, with call girls," she said laughing.
"He lived a wonderful life. I think it's more cruel when we eat meat from an animal that grew up in a cage, and then hast to die by electric shock. I think it's more beautiful that the bull had a real life."
Sounds like little Orson and his future sibling will have lots of stories to tell their friends as they grow up. "Grandpa was in a ring with a bull." How many kids get to say that?
