this picture is harmless. Even if this guy did play beer pong at a college party, who cares? What thirty something guy doesn't have the right to do that? I feel bad for him that although given to opportunity to make a ton of money to ensure his family to get the opportunities that the average upper middle class suburban family would get... He's forced to be under the temebdous spotlight. Let the friggin' guy go have a night out.

My gosh America, give them a break!!!! That picture is nothing!!!!  NOTHING!!!! I love this show and if they go off the air cause people like to spew trouble.....Ugh!!!

I think he looks like a drunk guy standing with a couple of girls who probably heard about him being on TV and wanted a pic with him.  If the rumors ARE true( hope not love the family) then shame on him.  After seeing last night's broadcast and how all the "attention" being on the show brings him....where he can't just be "himself" then I guess he should have thought about that before doing the show. I would venture to say that he likes some or the perks the show brings like the travel  and the fact that because of the show all 8 of his kids will be able to go to college...he just does not like the unwanted picture taking...I guess even the Gosselins have paparazzi!

The thing I didn't like about the season finale was that Jon made the statement that he can no longer by "jon" and that he is always seen as "jon and kate plus 8" - well, duh!  You got married and had children - that's what happens whether you are on tv or not.  Once you marry, you have a responsibility to your spouse to act like a married man and once you have children you have to be a role model... all the time.  Not just when it's convenient for you.  I agree that the above-posted photo looks innocent but if that's the whole story then why did he apologize to Kate and admit that he did a "stupid thing"?

This is the photo Ive been hearing about? How stupid it is ! It's fans taking a pics with him. He does look drunk, though..but he's human..he's allowed..

You only have to watch one show to see that Kate is not easy going and doesn't always think before she speaks to Jon. My BF has often said if I spoke to him like Kate does Jon we would have a problem. But, this picture is a joke, really, it's just a drunk guy with two fans.

I guess the show can go on with or without Jon.   Just Kate and the kids doing their thing. But, there seems to be a distance between Jon and Kate....I'm not sensing the love and committment they had in the early shows. The kids are older now and soon will be attending school so they aren't going to be able to be on display as they once were.   I love the show but maybe it's time to call it quits now that the kids are older.  I'm sure they can use the money but is it worth destroying their marriage?  Kate once admonished Jon for calling their lives "seasons" because of the show. Now she's like "Broadway Kate."  The woman who hated shopping now loves it.  She sometimes seems smug and makes Jon look like a fool with her cruel remarks and eye rolling.  The show is getting difficult to watch because I really feel sorry for Jon when she berates him. Hope they can pull it together for the sake of the children and their marriage.  As far as the photo of Jon and the two women....just looks like a photo fan op to me.  I still believe in that old adage believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.      

Wouldn't you want to go out and drink if you lived with Kate. She nags him all the time. Let the man have a beer! oh and shame shame shame on him for posing for a photo with 2 fans! OOOOOOH!

I have noticed the distance between Jon and Kate growing.  He made it clear on the finale he does not like the spotlight and she does. Kate has always said things to Jon that I thought were demeaning and thoughtless.  I would never speak to my husband that way especially in front of the children. Don't they think the children pick up on this, especially the older two. As much as I like the show I have started turning to another channel when critizes him or speaks to him like he were a child.  They have to decide how to protect the children and give them a loving home and how to respect each other and consider the other's feelings.  Sometimes that means giving up something important to them.

I so agree with Dianne about the distance growing between Jon and Kate.  Surely, she has to see herself on the show and how arrogant and self-righteous she is at times.   I use to think their banter was cute.....but now Kate is just plain cruel to Jon with some of her remarks.  I think TLC is preparing us for Kate Plus 8 and that is why she has been doing a few shows on her own with the kids.   She says she's happy?  How could she be happy when she sees how unhappy Jon is?  It's not all about her.  

Whats sort of funny is the whole divorce rumors were started by Jon himself when he was telling everyone he was separating from Kate when he was plastered at the bar.

The reason Jon's face is read is because he has whats known as "Asian Flush" half of those who are Asian will get red faced & heavy eyed when they drink alcohol, look it up.

The picture would be harmless if Jon were not publicly drunk as this couple proclaims to espouse a Christian lifestyle and values of which for the most part none is shown on TV.

I think they use the moniker of Christianity only for the purpose of selling their show and their books.

Oh, man.  Jon was in the middle of a babe sandwich.  Nice!  I wish they'd add those two gals as "nannys."  Kate's too bossy.  If she won't allow the nannys, then maybe they could divorce and each take four kids.  Have two shows.  Or if Jon wants completely out, just replace him like they did with the husband on Bewitched.  Don't even bother mentioning it, just have a new guy at the start of the next season.  Call him Jon.

John needs to get some backbone. Kate is relishing in her fame and job trips to New York, all John does is what Kate tells him to do, and that is stay home and look after the children, and even then she critical of how he does it.

I am happy the series has brought them financial security to help raise thei large family, I use to love the show, now I find it a little lame.

John needs to find some fulfillment outside the home.

that picture is totally OLD. look at his hair line now and his hairline then. not to mention the boyish look on his face. the 6 kids have aged both of them, he has joked that they were what caused his hairloss. the media is so stupid....

This is the imfamous PHOTO!!!  What a complete load of horse sh*t! I can't believe that all this hype is over this. No1 I don't think that he looks drunk I think it looks like a bad photo that they snapped why he was blinking No2. If he was hanging on them or fondling their breasts, I would say he was a bad man or had fallen but this is absolutely absurd and overblown non-scandal I have EVER witnessed.

Now granted I do think that Kate could show Jon a nicer face and just talk nicer to him. I was actually uncomfortable during the "look back at our favorite episodes" episode, when they showed Jon's not so nice moments he copt to them and admitted his mistakes in a really honorable way.  When they showed Kate's she got very defensive and continued to blame him. I would never wish them any unhappiness and truly pray that they show everyone how they can stick it out. But if they dont get Mady a reality check and just spank the tempertantrum diva they are in for REAL trouble. Seriously, the kid needs a spanking and told to suck it up!

I think the show is great, and it's not really any of our business what jon or kate REALLY do in their private lives. BUT,about the show, I do think that Kate does say things she doesn't really think too much about beforehand, but everyone makes mistakes. In relationships, there are the really great times and then there's the really sucky times. It just tests their love and commitment, and how much you are willing to compromise and work things through that shows how strong their love really is.. Maybe some counseling would be a good idea and maybe to sit down that really think about why they fell in love in the first place, and what they really mean to each other.. People make mistakes, and who are we to judge. And to the person who said something about their religion, it's really none  anyone's business to criticize their religion... Anyone that steps foot into church isn't perfect, they have ALL made mistakes,but does that mean they should stop coming to church? NO....

Actually if you will look at both of the pictures very closely....the hair is different. The guy will the girls looks like a "look-a-like" to me.

People need to verify things like this before causing marital trouble for a couple already strained because of 8 children.

I agree about Mady, that girl is going to need a PSYCHO therapist. I do not remember ever seeing her in 'timeout'. In retail she would be the customer that associates avoid, way too demanding.

I watched the show and his wife is rude to him, smacks him on the face and is a real bitch, so what do you expect?

um yeah what is a married guy with that many kids doing at a college bar. If he wants to drink do it at home with his buddies, not in a pick up joint. Also if you notice the bar has the chairs on the tables, so most likely it was closed. Even the "best" husbands who claim to be the "happiest" make really stupid mistakes, and there are big differences in what is deemed a mistake here people! Especially if its their first night out since marriage and kids and all. If the stories are true that he did more than just take pics I can believe there would be tension in the marriage and could cause him to want to make a stupid mistake just to get a chance to vent. I feel bad for them both, she's taken way to well to the hollywood life and he hasn't. But you know there is two of them and just because she airs her fights on tv doesn't mean that he doesn't have a voice too. Maybe thats why the ids are no longer allowed near the bedroom- too much fighting and not enough making up.

I totally agree with Paul.  There is no way that is Jon.  facial structure and body physique aren't the same.  And what, did he get a perm? Yeah, suuuurrrre it's Jon!!

Okay. I've worked in the restaurant business for a long time...and you can tell that he's NOT in a bar. Chairs turned up--sysco boxes. it looks like some ladies working in a restaurant wanted take a picture with him...if that's him at all.
