Casey Anthony is charged with murdering her 2 1/2-year-old daughter Caylee, and her behavior leading up to her child's disappearance and certainly afterwards, has been in question. And according to a source, Anthony has "confessed" to killing the toddler.
Police have allegedly found a "diary of death" in which Casey admits to killing her sweet baby girl. The diary is handwritten by Casey in the days following her daughter's disappearance and contains information that is so "damning" that prosecutors may reconsider seeking the death penalty.
It's believed that Casey and her mother Cindy had a huge fight the night before Caylee disappeared and Cindy said she'd take the little girl from her daughter for good. In the diary, Casey apparently talked of "mercy killing" her daughter so her mother would never get her.
A source said, "Casey snapped. In her sick mind, she became convinved that Caylee would be better off dead, in heaven, than in the hands of her mother."
The diary is also believed to contain detailed notes about chloroform and deadly pesticides. Anthony also refers to her child as "the little snot."
Casey wrote, "I have no regrets, just a bit worried. I just want for everything to work out okay. I completely trust my own judgement. I know that I made the right decision."
The insider added, "Police are firmly convinced that Caylee's death was not an accident, but an intentional murder. The reason they are so sure in this diary, in which Casey basically admits she killed her daughter. I think this diary is the ultimate smoking gun - dead ban physical evidence that proves beyond a doubt that Casey is guilty."
New photos have surfaced of Casey partying and although they were taken when Caylee was 14-months-old, (and they certainly don't mean she's a murderer) they put her character in question.

Casey Anthony's trial is scheduled to start October 12. Of course she's innocent until proven guilty.
