Do you have on of those friends that you can call anytime and you know they will help you.? Whether you have to call them in the middle of the night to pick you up from urgent care and take you home or maybe even watch your kids in a pinch because you have to take care of something that just came up.
Those friends are just priceless.
It turns out that Katie Holmes is one of those kind of friends. Say what you will about her and her situation, but she comes through in a pinch.
It seems that Victoria Beckham's mother-in-law was taking care of the boys while David and Victoria are in Italy, playing football and looking for houses. She decided it was time to go home and see the rest of her family and celebrate David's sister's birthday and left Victoria in a lurch.
In swooped Katie, to take care of the boys while Victoria arranged the flight home to California and her boys.
I have a couple of friends like that, I also try to be that friend, but I also try to teach my boys to be that kind of friend. It's one of the important things we pass on to our kids.
