Liam Neeson was in Canada filming his latest movie, "Chloe" when he left the set to be at wife Natasha Richardson's side after her tragic skiing accident. That crew of that film, Atom Egoyan's Chloe, is devastated over the death of Richardson but says they will continue with production. The filming will focus on scenes that don’t need Neeson, who is understandably still in mourning.
“There are some scenes with Liam Neeson which have not been completed, (but) we do not feel this is the time to address that matter,” says a statement. "The entire cast and crew of Chloe are bereft. Our hearts go out to Liam and his family at this difficult time."
“I had the opportunity to meet Natasha at the opening of the play I did with Liam in New York last year,” said director Egoyan. “Her intense pride and affection for her husband was so clear, as was his passion and love for her. I’m so devastated for Liam’s loss.”
I'm sure the film will only bring up sad memories for Neeson and sons Michael and Daniel after all that has happened. If Neeson does return to the set, no doubt his sons will be with him. Richardson once said in an interview that her and Neeson carefully plan their work schedules around their sons. "We try and take time so that we don't leave our children without one parent being there for them.”
