It's time CA (and other states) passed new laws to INSURE women with NO VISIBLE MEANS OF SUPPORT cannot IMPLANT themselves and have myriad babies ON THE TAXPAYERS' dole.

She had NO HUSBAND, NO JOB, NO financial means ... so in God's NAME, why was she allowed to rip-off THE MULTI-millions in MEDI-CAL, food stamps, WIC, student loans, disability for herself and her "SPECIAL NEEDS" CHILDREN --which she guaranteed THERE WOULD BE MORE OF due to her birthing 8 KIDS.

More kids w/special needs guaranteeing HER even more federal and state $$$.

This woman should be BEHIND BARS and her children adopted by loving FAMILIES who could insure they were RAISED properly --NOT to live off society.

@ KIDSatRISK: While I'm not arguing that a woman with no income is in no position to support a child on her own, let alone go through IVF in order to have one (or eight), I think your opinion is a rather extreme. She should be behind bars for her choices? No way. She should be receiving psychiatric help. Nadya has shown that she isn't a suitable mother and probably not a mentally stable person, but neither or those things are criminal offenses unless her children are being abused or neglected. It's unfortunate, yes, but it is not and should not be punishable by incarceration. It wouldn't benefit her or her children and if anything, would do everyone involved more harm than good.

Also, why the extra emphasis on husbands and families? I'm hoping that I've just misconstrued that, but it seems like you're implying that the only way to raise a child properly is within a traditional nuclear family.
