Melora Hardin spends time with her daughters and does no yet rely on the TV for that precious few minutes to herself during the day.
I don't really depend on the TV, but sometimes it's good for the kiddies to watch things like "Yo Gabba Gabba".
She takes her daughters to ballet and music lessons and they make up little shows for their parents. The kids are really happy not watching TV. They have great imaginations, but she did say, “I’m sure there will come a day when they’re going to want TV, but for now they do other things — look at books, do a puzzle. They get to watch videos and movies on the weekend.”
Sounds sweet doesn't it? I personally like that my kids have certain shows that they like, it's a guaranteed 1/2 hour that I can concentrate on work. I don't know about you, but working at home, I need to grab every 1/2 hour that I can.
