After a photo surfaced, of Jon Gosselin from Jon & Kate Plus 8 fame, and a female "friend," leaving a bar near his Pennsylvania home, he issued a statement saying his decision showed "poor judgment." However, there's another allegation of the father of eight stepping out on his wife Kate, who is currently on her Eight Little Faces book tour. Can this family stay together?
While Kate is away, Jon is supposed to be holding down the fort and caring for their young children - a set of twins and sexlupets. However, there are more allegations of Jon cheating. He was reportedly seen kissing a beautiful, young brunette at a motel, on April 18.
A security guard, David Reitnauer, for America's Best Value Inn said, "I've watched his show - the woman he was with wasn't his wife Kate."
He added, "It didn't look like a friendly kiss. It looked like a romantic one - it lasted for about 10 seconds."
Gosselin has been frequenting Legends motel bar for the past month - the same bar he was photographed leaving with the mystery woman a few days ago.
Reitnauer said, "Jon has been coming to the motel bar Legends for the past month. Usually he pulls up in his white Nissan Nismo with a buddy.
"He stands outside his car, waiting for local women to come over and comment on his car. He usually arrives around 11 p.m., hangs outside in the parking lot for an hour or so, and then leaves with his buddy. He then returns around 1:30 a.m. when the bar is about ready to close.
"But on Saturday, April 18, it was different. I had never seen him actually go into the club until that night.This time, instead of a buddy in the passenger seat, there was a beautiful young brunette.
"I've watched his show - the woman he was with wasn't his wife Kate."
Although Jon has spoken of his most recent outing, Kate has not.
Can this couple weather the storm? What if they split, who will get the kids? Will they share custody? What is Jon doing? Seriously, I can understand how stressful it would be to have eight small children, and yes, as a couple, Jon and Kate have to work at their relationship like anyone else - but Jon going out with a girl "friend" while Kate is away - not the best decision.
Is Jon jealous of Kate's success? For some men, that can be an issue - I'm not saying it is for Jon, just wondering. Maybe for him, staying home with his children isn't enough?
