Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick will welcome twin girls in a few weeks, and the Sex and the City star is so ready for her babies!
The babies - who are coming via surrogate early this summer - will be the second and third children for the couple. They are parents to son James Wilke, 6.
Sarah and Matthew are said to be very excited, and even though Sarah has fears like every other mother, she's ready.
A friend told PEOPLE, "They've always wanted to become parents again. They realized after the first or second year after James was born that it would be nice to have another baby.
"They’ve always talked about wanting [more] kids, it just wasn’t happening. Sarah had difficulty getting pregnant. So they went the surrogate route."
The pal added that Sarah and Matthew are "great parents. They have a good time with their son.
"Matthew is very hands-on. He loves to get on the floor and play with James. He’s a kid himself so he loves to act like a kid with James. And James, of course, loves it."
So happy for them, can't wait to meet (well, see pics) their baby girls!
