Another celebrity mess and who will be hurt the most in the end? The children of Jon and Kate Gosselin. After Jon was photographed leaving a hotel bar at 2 a.m. with his friend Deanna Hummel, he admitted his actions - although innocent (so both say) - were in poor judgment because it hurt his family. Deanna's brother Jason came forward to "confirm" the two were indeed having an affair, but she says he's lying. Both Jon and Kate have spoken, and they say nothing is going on, but now Jason has more to say - he's absolutely sticking to his story.
Jon's friend Deanna, 23, has denied any fling (as has Jon and Kate) with the father of eight, but her brother says it's true. Now Deanna is claiming her brother is a liar. Jason said he even heard his sister and Jon having sex in the next room. Um, seriously, let's say it is true, why would a brother sell-out his sister like that? For 15 minutes of fame? Gross. What kind of family disfunction is that?
"My brother is making this all up. He has no credibility... I can't even stomach the lies he's saying about me," said Deanna.
She adds, "My brother is very shady. He has no job. He has a criminal background. He was charged for drug distribution. He's on probation right now."
Deanna claims her brother is trying to get back at her - the two live together, but she's buying her own home and not allowing Jason to move in with her.
"He wanted to get back at me... he knows he's getting kicked out of the house." She said his story of hearing her and Gosselin having sex "is completely crazy!"
She continues, "I'm so hurt that he put my occupation out there. He has put my job in jeopardy. I can't take my kids to recess without worrying that people will come up and harass me and the other teachers. It's not fair."
Jason is fighting back, and is sticking to his guns about his sister and Jon. He tells Us:
"I noticed that in both her and Jon's recent comments, that neither of them addresses the fact that he was sleeping over at our house and was videotaped (um, how convenient?) leaving our house at 7:30 in the morning... Neither of them addresses why she was photographed in a bikini in his front yard while Kate was out of town. It is what it is. I have no reason to lie." Hummel says he was not paid for his interview.
As for his sister's claim of him being "shady," he said:
"I have a bad past and I'm not proud of it. I was selling drugs. I didn't get a jail sentence, I'm on probation. When I made my mistake, I was the same age as my sister is now, making her mistake. Hopefully she can learn from it."
I'm guessing Jon is absolutely regretting going out with Deanna now. I'm not accusing the man of having an affair - I don't know if he is or not - but he's probably wishing he had just stayed home and watched Shrek with the kids.
They might be too young to know exactly what's going on, but I'm sure the eight Gosselin children can feel the tension in their home.
