Levi Johnston's mother, Sherry Johnston, has a big drug trial starting next week. She faces charges of selling OxyContin. And in the meantime, she says that relations between the Johnstons and the Palins are beginning to improve.
"When Bristol came to pick up Tripp this week, she said if we want him more often, all I have to do is call. She said if I want to come to their house, I can come over and see him all the time," says the 42-year-old grandmother. "I am hopeful we'll be able to work together to raise Tripp."
Still, Sherry says she wants to see Tripp more often. "We only see him a few hours a week, but I did get to spend time with him this morning. It tears me apart. Every time I see him he's a different child. Before he wasn't rolling over, now he is. Now he's trying to crawl. I am missing him so much that it tears me up."
Course, Sherry may not see Tripp much longer, depending on how the trial goes next week. She has a number of felony charges filed against her. In her defense, she says she's innocent and got hooked on OxyContin 8 years ago after a hysterectomy. That led to 7 more surgeries.
Hell, I'd probably get hooked on painkillers, too, if that were me. Still, that doesn't explain SELLING the drugs.
