I'm not a fan, but could it be as simple as Kate has a great deal of the money funneled straight into retirement savings, education savings for the kids and an emergency fund far bigger than anyone but the Duggars could require?

She's going to need all of that money for the children's psychologist.

i am glad she is making all this money. she probably will not get the opportunity after the show as the show is the families main source of income. she has to sent all 8 of her children through college pay bills and shop for food and clothing. she is extremely cheap and proud of it. if you has 8 kids you would feel the same way.

i think that if everythings a big lie about all of the cheating then they both need to come forward and say some thing because  i think that all of this is for more viewers

i think peolpe should give her a break on the hair because those people that make fun r not showing pictures of them selfs, what does your hair look like

Kids are very bright all these kids know whats going on maybe not that their parents are cheating on one another.But they can tell theres something up. What I would like to see happen That this series ends and mom and dad get help-then bring back the kids in high school or college. Really now at the age they are its really getting boring-they pretty much can take care of themselves-.Just like any family that has more than two or three.

She is not cheap as so many state. She claims she uses coupons etc and then goes on shopping sprees in some episodes never even looking at sales as she pulls clothes from the rack. It is a facade as I think producers of the show felt a bit of backlash from her constant remarks about her freebies. Don't bite the hand that feeds you as they say and this "horse" has nipped a few times too many. I think someone should step in and see where the money is going. If there is any for those children and there future because they work essentially. I am VERY interested in what she claimed in taxes as well. Strange no one comments that she charges cash amounts for her signature ($20) but recently upped that to $100 it was reported. Then those love offerings. All cash all easy to go unclaimed. I think the IRS should do a little accounting to see if Kate is playing by all the rules. Seeing that RULES are something no one should break according to her.

To add to the comments about her hair that some feel she should be given some slack. No way! In the midst of all these allegations she came out publically to BRAG about her hair and demean anyone else to had a similar style. Well she is not the first to do this haircut. Katie Couric, Victoria Beckham and Rhianna all have this retro style. I mean I have an awesome pic of myself from 1984. Afterall she copied this from Kagagoogoo and the Flock of Seagulls. Problem is they did it better. So for all those who think it is mean to call her a narcissit well read her comments. It seems to me she opens her mouth and out flies crap....

This is a plea to the masses! Everyone needs to collectively stop watching this show and force them to do what is right, which is to stop production and cancel the show! These beautiful children need parents, and they need them NOW! Damage is definitely done already, however, it's not too late to turn things around. Kate Gosselin keeps saying " we can't go back to the way things were". Well, I couldn't disagree more. If she loves those children, she will sit down with TLC and find a way to make it happen. People do want to see them fail, and truly that is because of those precious children. With that being said, they need to end there marriage NOW (it is traumatic for children to live in that type of turmoil). They need to end the show NOW! And atleast try to regain some control of there lives, especially because there are so many children at risk in this situation.  In particular, I am not a fan of Kate Gosselin because when you are an adult, you lose your rights to acting like idiots. The children come first......that's it!!!!!! No crap about "matching" cribs, I need a manicure/pedicure, my book deal requires me to travel months at a time, I need high end desinger everything! No one will say Jon was right for his reaction to all this craziness. However, he clearly has not wanted to keep this going for some time now! I do have my degree in psychology, but you didn't need a degree to see the "rift" developing between them in the last year or two. I mean, come on, that wedding in Hawaii was hard to watch. He might as well of had a gun to his head when he was taking his vows. I remember watching when I heard Kate say "we are doing this so the children know that we WILL ALWAYS be together" and thinking that their marriage is probably coming to an end at that time. She glared at him as she made that statement like, you better never leave us OR ELSE! There were so many signs of this disaster coming that it wasn't even funny. It seems that the fairytale is over and now realy has set in. I don't know that Kate is mature enough to do what is right for the children and stop the show, and stop all her book deals and speaking engagements. She might just need to be forced to stop and take the temptations away! Some things you need to get right in life, and motherhood is one of them. End of story. She keeps claiming that she will not fail them as a mother. I would claim that she already has. She made a deal with the devil and HE always cashes in. She tries to make it out like God has this amazing plan for her, and let me tell you, he did! TO BE A MOTHER AND RAISE YOUR CHILDREN! Yes it takes a village to raise a child. But not literally! It should not literally take a village to raise YOUR children. This is not the only family in the U.S. to have sextuplets. Many of the other families found a way to financially "get by" and lead somewhat normal lives without selling themselves and there children's privacy. This goes beyong exploitation, this is straight up "pimping" them out. So they need to split, they need to end the show, they need to sell there house, they need to look their children in the face and say we messed up beyond belief, and now we will spend every waking minute of the rest of your beautiful lives making it up to you and doing right by you! PLease America, stop watching and make them do whats right!

jen, please these are forums, not places for novels you have your own opinion, just please keep in mind, producers, and people have a certain way of leading you, maybe you think it is pimping, but they now have college $$ and a better life.... Personally I feel bad for the family. Jon Hummel is a liar, and he is trying to get fame from this, the most important thing is getting the gosslins back on track. 2gether or not. It is all just really sad if they break up, 8 kids, so sad.

I watched the show today of the birthday party and could relate to everything. I have a successful business and people always think I am okay being married to a basketball player and have 2 young boys... I am a human and my marriage has failed, I have 2 kids to raise and my husband only has the good old days when he played basketball. I see so many people writing about me on blogs and if they only knew I was in and out of domestic violence shelters for the past 6 months, my business is popular but by the time all the expenses go out I have literally have $100.00 a week, after living expenses, food, gas, daycare.. I am in debt. The navigator was repossesed and I am currently driving the mercedes that has the engine light displayed on the dash... and pray everyday it will get me to where I need to go and back. You have no idea what people go through in life behind closed doors. I have no friends and true family around (only my Mother) because I got tired of all the faking conversation like I have it all together and people thinking I have so much money and the perfect life... I cannot even imagine having a tv show showcasing my family life, I would be so embarassed. I look up to Kate for just... "doing the best that she can"... as women and Mothers we only do the best that we can, do not judge until you experience things first hand ...LIFE! It takes us in many directions and we just do the best that we can..geez ... JUST DOING THE BEST THAT YOU CAN! In this World, with your 2 hands, 10 fingers, 1 head, 2 arms, and 1 brain... JUST DOING THE BEST THAT YOU CAN!!!
