Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting their first child this fall, and according to sources: It's a girl!
Gellar, 32, who is five months pregnant, was reportedly overheard on the set of her HBO pilot, The Wonderful Maladays, gushing about her daughter.
"Sarah's so excited, she's having a hard time keeping it a secret," said a set insider. "She's been letting little details slip here and there."
The former Buffy star has been busy decorating the nursery and planning for baby. "She's had her hands full. She's been spending her free time planning the nursery in their TriBeCa apartment while acting in the show and serving as executive producer at the same time. But she wants everything to be perfect by the time the baby comes," said the source.
"Sarah wants the room to look sophisticated, so nothing too frilly or princessy. She's been shopping for earth tones to mix with plum or magenta accents," according to the pal.
The first-time mom-to-be is said to be excited. "She's definitely taking the pregnancy well, and Freddie is also making things easier for her, which helps her de-stress. Sarah actually seems calmer and more relaxed than she was before getting pregnant!"
