More Jon & Kate Secrets Exposed

By | May 22nd, 2009 at 10:32 am

Part three of the interview with Kevin and Jodi goes into a little more detail of the arrangement Jon and Kate have and who instigated it.

They tell of the time when Jon came to them, taken aback by Kate calling it quits and her proposal for the future. She said the relationship was over and that he’s free to have his girlfriends as long as he shows up for filming.

The couple also talked about Kate’s ghostwriter for her book 8 Little Faces. They spoke of “book writing weekends” with her friend Beth and Kate doing her own thing, while Beth wrote the book. Hmm… was her bodyguard there too?

Have you checked out the book? I’ll admit I was curious so I picked it up at Target and lo and behold it is full of scriptures, from the Bible. I thought it was interesting, actually I found it odd.

I don’t know if I can take much more of Jon and Kate and their ratings grab shenanigans. I don’t even watch the show.

I just feel bad for the kids, growing up in that kind of house, with that kind of arrangement has to be hard. What do you tell your friends at school at their ages?

Yeah, so my dad lives in the garage and brings his girlfriend over sometimes. Plus my mom and dad don’t even like  each other.

Kids are a little more perceptive than that though. I bet they are just little stress balls.

I watched the show in the beginning because it was interesting to see how the family coped with 8 children (6 of them babies). It was considered a “learning experience.” But now 5 yrs later, it is time to get off the air, and go out and get real jobs and support your family like the rest of us do. Whether their problems are real or just for hyped up rating, it is all wrong to exploit these things for any reason.
