Good news for all of the T.I. fans, his sentence was reduced to 60 days.
The judge reduced his sentence because of the 305 days he served at home. Was he on house arrest? Oh yeah, I wrote that post.
I bet that's a big relief, for a couple of different reasons. 1, he'll get to be with his family a lot sooner and 2, the less time he spends in jail, the more relevant he remains.
Even though it may seem like special treatment for the sentence reduction, he won't be receiving special treatment in jail. He'll have to wear the same shower shoes as everyone else and he will be in the general population.
How's that for street cred?
