Katie Holmes landed her first lead role since marrying Tom Cruise and is heading out of the country. Why do those two things go together?
She is taking her family, Tom and Suri, to Melbourne, Australia for the next three months or so to film a movie set in New England.
The movie is Don't Be Afraid Of the Dark and will play one half of a designing couple.
I wonder if they will be followed relentlessly by the paparazzi in OZ, like they are here. Note to Katie: It's going to be winter in Australia, so don't forget to pack some pants and sweaters for Suri.
