Horrible.  It's amazing what "freak" hazards exist in the average home - How many of us have let children of those exact same ages amuse themselves while we do chores?  Prayers for the family.

Very sorry for Mike Tyson and family's loss. This is such a tragedy. No one and I mean NO ONE deserves this to happen to their lives. For us who have children, we can only imagine the pain they are going through right now.

This is just such a tragedy.  I agree with bbbgmom - of the hazards we are not aware of in our home.  And how we underestimate a child's judgment of safety.  My condolences to the family.

i think this is gods way of punishing mike for all the wrong he has done in his life

I offer my deepest sympothy for the Tyson family in their time of grieving. Know that your angel Exodus will forever live in your hearts and memory. I have never experienced the death of a child but that doesn't stop me from grieving with you. When one loses someone they love they tend to hide and sink into a private hell. Keep God first Tysons and as always he will be that comforter.

I watched the movie "Tyson" this weekend and it really brought home to me how much the same we all are. It's easy to watch TV and think "I'm so much better than that awful so-and-so" but the truth is we are all just human beings pulling from the same grab-bag of flaws who feel the same pain and the same fear. I don't believe much in prayer anymore but I'm doing the closest thing I can in hopes that Exodus's family stays together and heals as best they can. And to the people who hate Mike Tyson enough to see justice in his child's death...you should see the movie too because you might learn something like I did.

The loss of a child is the loss of our future. There is no greater loss for anyone. I pray that this family gets the support they need to get through this. I live in Catskill, NY, Mike's old stomping ground. I would like the Tyson family to know that we grieve with them and send our love. May the knowledge that Exodus is with God bring some solace at this time.
