Kate Winslet was out with her kids Mia, 8, and Joe, 5, in New York City today. Looks like a not-so-glamorous part of the city - not a boutique or panini café in sight. I think for celebrities this is known as 'roughing it.'
Winslet recently fought back at tabloid reports that accused her of spending too much time away from her kids while filming. "Who the hell is going to go and leave their children for five months? Obviously not me. I would never leave my children for five months, no matter whether they're five, 15, or 55."
I'm with you on the five and 15 part, Kate, but I think by the time mine are 55 I might let them steal away for five months or even a year. Maybe.
