Dave Grohl, of Foo FIghters and Nirvana fame, blames the Spears family for Britney's trainwrecky goodness:
"Fame will f**k with your head, and if you don't have a solid
foundation, you get swept away in it. When Nirvana became famous, I was
only 21, but I had a good foundation. Whenever s**t got too crazy, I'd
go back to Virginia and spend time with the people who loved me the
most, and it kept me from getting dragged under."
Jamie-Lynn's recent pregnancy
is another indication that the family is in trouble. Not so much the
pregnancy though -- lots of teens from solid families get pregnant, but
the thing that proved the lack of support was the fact that Lynne
Spears, the woman who was supposed to protect her scared daughter at
this time called a frigging magazine and SOLD the story to them. That
my friends, is complete bullshit.
