I'm sure that when Homer Simpson cut John Elway from the Denver Broncos that they both expected John to land on his feet somewhere. Let's face it, the kid showed promise. A few Coors Light commercials later and Elway is back in the game.
He was hired to be the quarterback coach for his son's high school team. I'm just going out on a limb here, but I'm thinking his boy might get some special treatment.

I'm looking at yet another great photo of a rough and tough football player, well not so tough since he's a Bronco, and the tenderness evoked by the smile of his child, in this case Patrick and Ellen Ramsey, and all I can think is- whose watching these kids? I have yet to see a mommy in any of the photos. Do they just tape them to the tackling dummies during the scrimmages?
