Aye, that there be Johnny Depp, says I. Damn, I was going to run with the pirate theme, but that's annoying.
Johnny Depp and his girlfriend, French actress Vanessa Paradis, are taking a vacation sailing the Mediterranean. The couple, who are rumored to be getting hitched, officially, after being together for nearly 10 years, have two children, 7-year-old Lily-Rose and Jack, 4. Notice that Jack was born after Depp took the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. He's lucky he wasn't named Ichabod.
Perhaps you noticed that Depp's movies, specifically a few pirate things he did, seemed to have done okay. That being the case, he can afford a few indulgences, like say, his own island.
Says Johnny, "The only thing money means to me is the freedom it buys me. Living in
the islands is heaven. It'll be easier to give a normal
upbringing there."
No don't get me wrong, but define normal. I've read Lord of the Flies, there's nothing normal about kids being raised on an island. Then again, normal is overrated.
