Living up to the lyrics of her song "Miss Independent," American Idol Kelly Clarkson appears to have a clear picture of her future. In a recent interview with Elle magazine she dishes on her personal life and is adamant about not populating the planet.
“My point of view is that I shouldn’t be a mother at all, because I’d be horrible. I’m not willing to be that selfless.” Well, I do have to say that's refreshing, in light of the fact that some people tend to regard becoming parents as just an excuse to increase their living quarters.
And as further proof of her growing independence, it's being reported that Clarkson fired her manager, Jeff Kwatinetz last night. There have been other controversies involving Clarkson and her upcoming album My December. She's been having a well-publicized dispute with uber-mogul Clive Davis, who offered her $10 million to ditch some of her original songs in favor of songs of his choosing that he deemed more cheesy - I mean radio-friendly. Clarkson apparently told the old coot to bugger off.
Guess she won't be calling Davis 'Daddy,' either.
