Footsteps of Our Fathers

What kid doesn't want to follow in their daddy's footsteps, especially when their daddy is rich and famous like Eastwood and Smith? Just ask their boys, Scott Reeves and Jaden Smith, respectively. MSN has put together a little tribute to some successful dads and their talented(?) offspring. Actually, it's pretty cool. It's nice when apples don't fall far from the tree.

Dave Matthews and Wife Cook Baby

Hey, that's what he said. Musician Dave Matthews and his wife, Ashley, are about ready for their bun to get out of the oven. In an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Matthews quotes his wife as saying, "It's cooked!"

The new addition, whose gender they don't know, will be greeted by twin sisters Grace Anne and Stella Busina.

Dave's summer tour kicks off next month, and he says that he is planning on taking the whole family.

Funny how the craziness that happens backstage at a rock concert has changed over the years, isn't it?

When It Comes to Sweatshops, Ripa is No Kathie Lee

Kelly Ripa's son, Joaquin Consuelos, 4, is so cute that a talent agent didn't even notice his hot mama. How cute can the kid be?

Life & Style is reporting that the agent was more interested in putting Joaquin in a Gap commercial.

Kelly and her husband, Mark Conseulos, have not made a statement regarding the request.

Ripa, who replaced notorious child-labor marketeer, Kathie Lee Gifford on the Regis show, may be a bit apprehensive about throwing her son into the family business at such a young age. I say, why not? It's not like he'll be making the clothes.

You'll notice that Ben has resorted to the classic "stroller is for stuff, not kids" routine that many of us have faced at one time or another. The stroller, a Chariot Carrier ($695), would just block the Robeez Boots (in lavender, $37) anyway. Those boots are made for showing.

Jenny McCarthy's Crazy is Better than Travolta's

Jenny McCarthy, whom I've seen naked, and her son Evan were seen catching a flight at LAX. Evan, who is autistic, was the inspiration for McCarthy writing a book on the subject.

This doesn't bode well for her Scientologist friends that were trying to bring her into the fold. They like to pretend autism doesn't exist. Besides, Jenny has her own crazy.

Bjork in Britney's Corner

"Singer" Bjork feels Britney's pain. It is sharp and twisting, oh wait, that's the swan dress. She does say that she feels for Spears and her attempt at balancing a child, celebrity status and a musical career.

She says that it was hard for her, back when she was famous, and eventually led to her attack on a reporter that tried to approach her son. That's probably why Britney never takes her kid anywhere, for the safety of the reporters.

Bjork says that she was able to deal with it because she was able to move away, and that Spears doesn't have that option. What the hell does that mean? Of course she can move. She just won't.

The Donald Becomes The Grandpa

Donald Trump's first grandchild, Kai Madison Trump, was born to Donald Trump Jr. and his wife Vanessa on May 12th. The kid has hair. Lots of it. The poor thing came out looking like Gramps.

The family has noticed.

"The baby is really beautiful," says Trump Sr. "I've never seen such hair on a baby in my entire life... so I'm thrilled."

Added Vanessa, "Everyone who sees her is amazed by the hair. She had to have it shampooed right away!"

Nothing like hair and money to bring a family together. It's sweet.

Denise Richards to Daughters: Love Your Body Image or Don't Worry, You'll be Hot

Denise Richards wants her girls to love their bodies, so she is making herself their role model. The bar has been set high.

Her daughters, Sami, 3, and Lola, 2, have inspired her to maintain a healthy diet and workout routine, which includes Pilates and weights. She claims that the best exercise is chasing the two of them around.

Apparently, the two girls making fun of each other's belly caused her to promote the message of love your body. Of course, her body is easier to love than most.

She says the biggest challenge is trying to incorporate her girls into the exercise program, even to the extent of having her trainer design special Pilates sessions with them in mind.

I really thought I would write this post and make fun of Richards. Let's face it, the girl has a serious lack of talent and an over abundance of sex appeal. That makes her prime picking. However, she's a single mom and she's instilling positive and healthy messages in her kids. She gets a pass.

Jack White & Karen Elson Find Out Gender of #2

White Stripes (and Raconteurs) frontman Jack White and his wife, British model Karen Elson, who are expecting their second child, have learned that they are having a boy. They are "thrilled" and looking forward to adding to their family which currently consists of the couple and their baby daughter, Scarlett Teresa, who turned one in May, and is named for Jack's mother.

The family, who are very private, hence the crappy picture, lives in Nashville, Tennessee, of which White says, "You don't have to worry about being cool here. I had enough of that." I'm guessing he's still something of a "hip parent" regardless.

This just in, Nashville residents don't like being called "uncool" by rock stars.

Jen Garner's little girl Violet is about as cute as a button. She doesn't look very happy as her momma is playing hide the binky. Beckham Planning Daughter Tattoo, First Needs Daughter

Pretty boy soccer player David Beckham, Becks to his friends, is not only a piece of work, but according to his wife Victoria, a.k.a. Posh Spice, he is also a peice of art. Becks, yes, we're tight, has a number of tattoos that are dedicated to his wife and their three children, but the left arm remains a (mostly) blank canvas.

Says Posh, "I think David is keeping his arm free for - hopefully - the name, or names, of our daughter or any other children we have.

"Of course we would absolutely love to have a little girl but at the moment our lives are so full. So much is going on, we're just concentrating on now and the move to LA."

So basically he is leaving the majority of his left arm untouched by ink just in case they have more kids. That's proper planning. I hope Blink 182 boys are paying attention.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Always on the Lookout for Potential Children, Do You Know Where Yours Are?

Angelina Jolie, on location in the Czech Republic, has been shopping at visiting a Catholic orphanage in Prague. Apparently she has found her pick of the litter and Brad Pitt flew in over the weekend to kick the tires meet the child.

According to a source interviewed by AOL, "She called Brad and said she had found a child who would fit in perfectly with the other kids.

"If everything goes smoothly, Angelina will have an Eastern European son to add to her brood."

Currently the family consists of son Maddox from Cambodia, Vietnamese son Pax Thien, Ethiopian daughter Zahara, and daughter Shiloh from Wombsville. Here's what I want to know, how the hell do they talk with all of these kids? They need more translators than the United Nations.

The couple is denying that a pending adoption is underway, which of course means "stay tuned" to FameCrawler for all of your Brangelina needs.

Neal McDonough in Lindsay Lohan Movie. Also, His Wife Had a Baby

Neal McDonough, star of Flags of Our Fathers and Band of Brothers, and his wife, former South African model Ruv� Robertson, added to their unit on May 14th with the enlisting of a new recruit, daughter Catherine Maggie McDonough. Get it? He's famous for military stuff.

The couple already have a son, 18-month-old, Morgan. He has not provided an official comment. His father, however, tells PEOPLE. "I am truly blessed � Ruv� has given me yet another gorgeous, wonderful gift." Sounds like the guy gets it.

He can provide them all a gift as well, don't let the kids near co-star Lindsay Lohan at the premier of their new film I Know What Killed Me. She's a bad influence.

Shia LaBeouf Not Interested in Being Skank

Shia Labeouf, one of the Hollywood rich kids, is learning from the mistakes of others, namely Lindsay Lohan. Glad to see someone is learning from her mistakes.

Says Labeouf, "I want a career like those guys (Nick Cage, Sean Penn), not like a Lindsay Lohan. She's a talented actress but has made some scary decisions." Ya think? "I want a career that's different from some of the people of my generation." By "some" he obviously means "most" of them.

"Being seen just as a celebrity can be as bad as having your movie tank." What knowledge is this, dropped like it's hot? Somehow Shia has managed to maintain a pretty good head on his shoulders. Let's hope he doesn't lose it on the mean streets of Hollywood. And that his parents are proud.

JonBenet's Father & Natalee Holloway's Mother Find Each Other

JonBenet Ramsey's father, John Ramsey, 63, and Natalee Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, 46, have apparently developed a "friendship" that borders on the romantic.

According to Lin Wood, Ramsey's attorney, "They share common interests and concerns related to their children, particularly with respect to the actions of law enforcement and the media in response to those tragic losses."

They also share a little more, having been spotted holding hands and kissing.

Ramsey's wife died from cancer last year and Holloway divorced earlier this year. The friendship that has developed between them and the possible romance are based on their common ground of each having lost a child in very public and tragic cases. Pretty much what that lawyer said.

Why not?

These people have had things happen to them that no parent should ever face. If they can salvage a little happiness in the company of the other, then by all means, please do so.

Nicole Richie Also Considering Jail

Nicole Richie, all 7 pounds of her (with glasses), made an appearance on Letterman last night to talk and, you know, be seen. Dave, ever the curious type, wanted to talk about everyone's favorite jailbird, Paris Hilton.

Nicole hasn't been able to visit Paris yet, but has spent hours trying to fit a file into a piece of celery for when that moment comes. I'm hypothesizing of course.

Letterman brought up the fact that Richie is having some legal trouble of her own, and may also be facing jail time. She answered, ""I'm just keeping my fingers crossed, and you know, of course, I'm scared also, but you know, I'm willing to face whatever consequences come my way and I take responsibility for what I've done." You know.

In Hollywood DUI is the new black, and Nicole may be a few steps behind Paris in following suit. What else is new? Said Richie about Hilton and the media attention surrounding her legal issues, "Sometimes people just get exploited. I can only hope that doesn't happen to me." Guess what? It's going to, just like you ~~don't~~ want.

I can't help but wonder if this is just another attempt by Nicole to "fit in" with the other kids. Rehab? Check. Pregnant? Maybe. Jail? Looking good. The only thing Nicole has going for her is that she would be able to leave jail anytime she wanted just by turning sideways and slipping through the bars.

Get it together girl, and for the love of Mike, eat something. No matter what your friend tells you, this mess, it ain't hot.

The Kids Are Alright

It's the teens and up that are freaking nuts. According to the The Bakersfield Californian, the "tweeners", no relation to "tweakers", are the group of kids in the 8-12ish bracket, and they are not impressed with the pantyless coke-heads that are filling every aspect of the airwaves. I know, I know, we're talking about them too, but we're making fun of them. That's different.

Britney shaves her noggin and the kids don't go all Sinead on us, but instead question why she didn't donate her golden(?) locks to charity. Lohan gets busted, again, and the kids don't put three coats of cover-up on their freckles, no, they think she's stoopid {sic}. They're right.

Of course, these kids are still pretty influenced by their parents, but the outlook is promising. I hope they don't outgrow the sense to keep it real. You know how they do.

John Travolta to Autism: Up Your Nose With a Rubber Hose

John Travolta, being crazy, is apparently in denial about his son Jett, 15, whom everyone on this planet believes is autistic. Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are Scientologists, and as such they believe that disorders like autism are curable by giving more ~~money~~ of oneself to the church.

Sounds healthy doesn't it? Hey son, you don't have a serious disorder, you just need to give more to ... um, the aliens? Rumor has it that it also cures depression.

In related news, the couple has announced that they want to have another child. Hopefully, number three won't have any ailments that need to be ignored.

Jagshemash! Looks like Borat may have got a little something caught in the Wizard's sleeve.

Luckily, the sleeve in question belongs to Austrailian hottie (see?), Isla Fisher, she of The Wedding Crashers fame, you know, the crazy one. Isla is rumored to be pregnant with Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen's baby. Apparently, they really enjoy the sexy time.

A Lovely Cruise

Suri Cruise is quite the young lady. Recently, after shopping with mom Katie and some ~~hired goons~~ bodyguards at a store in LA, that's Louisana, not Los Angeles, she followed up with a little note of thanks. Your kids do this too, right?

The note was not just for the time in the store, but also for the special star treatment that the store's owners welcomed her with. They even went so far as to create a personalized picture frame as a gift. The paying customers, you know, the people that work for their relative fortunes, did not seem to mind, nor did they receive gifts. That's life in LA, baby.

It is nice to see that Suri has her mother's manners. I bet she would never jump on someone's couch. That sort of behavior is unbecoming.

New Kid Having New Kid: A Chip Off the Ol' Block

When he's not dancing with the stars, Joey McIntyre is proving to the world that his stuff is indeed, the right stuff. Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh. Yes, the right stuff. Everyone's favorite New Kid on the Block (no word if this is the block that Jenny is also from) used his stuff correctly and is now going to be a daddy. He is just months away from finding out what it really means to be hanging tough.

How did this happen you might ask, well the first kiss was a sweet kiss, the second kiss had a twist, and so forth and so on. What, you don't remember the lyrics? I didn't either, I had to Google them. I sure as hell remember the Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh's though. That shit is tight.

Congrats on the upcoming addition Joey, but a word to the wise, you may want to keep the new kid off of the block, unless of course it's small, wooden and stackable. That block should be okay.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Star Scores Baby Bingo!

The star of ABC's National Bingo Night and host for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Ed Sanders, is now the proud papa to three, yes three, little girls. The triplets arrived at the beginning of May and add to a Sanders family that previously consisted of Ed, his lovely wife Gioia, and their five year old son.

Sounds like Mr. Sanders has the beginnings of an extreme makeover in his own home. Three little girls? At once? G-3... BINGO! Looks like his card will be full forever. Come on, I couldn't pass that stuff up.

This is where I would make a comment about Ed's hair turning grey, but the bloke shaves his head. If you have HD television, look closely, perhaps you can make out the shine of some little silver stubble.
